Health update No.2

I have just received the following from King’s which, I think, concisely summarises my current position.

“Dear Patient, Your Screening appointment (via phone) has been arranged for the 09/07/2025 at 09.20am, however this not a fixed time and you may be called earlier or later depending on the nurses’ schedule, should they need to speak with you. The screening appointment has been arranged as you completed the My Chart Health Questionnaire. Although it states it’s a telephone appointment you will only be contacted if the nurse requires further information or a Face-to-Face appointment. As a result of the screening appointment, you will be either: From the questionnaire you will either be assessed as: Fit for your surgery and you will receive information via email / post. The nurses / admin may want to call you to clarify something on your health or to arrange a blood test. If you have multiple health conditions you will be asked to attend for a face-to-face pre-admission assessment at a future date. The admissions team will contact you to arrange this. You will only be contacted on the day if the nurse requires further information. If a Face-to-Face or HCA appointment is required a member of the admin staff will be in contact in due course.”

So now we all know, I’m just not sure what.
